The EU in 2024 and Beyond: Changes, Challenges, Continuity

Thursday 7 March 2024, 10:00 - 11:15 CET

The BJA EU Committee and EY are honored to invite you to a webinar with Mr Karel Lannoo, Chief Executive of CEPS, centered on the future of Europe in 2024 and beyond.

Against the backdrop of a tense European and global policy arena, the EU will see lots of change in 2024. Up to 60% of the MEPs elected during the 2024 European Parliament elections will be new faces, and they will soon be followed by a new European Commission and a new President of the European Council, and Presidential elections in the US. After a huge rulemaking wave, it is expected the next EU Commission will focus on the single market (again), and competitiveness (again) as well as start the preparation for an important new wave of enlargement. How will the EU combine industrial policy and strategic autonomy with geopolitical and openness priorities?

A Q&A session will follow the presentation.

Feel welcome to share this invite with your interested colleagues and partners to join as well.
