Join the mission to:
- participate in nano tech 2026, one of Japan’s leading trade fairs for advanced materials, processes and enabling technologies
- engage in tailored 1-to-1 meetings with Japanese counterparts
- exhibit within the EU-Japan Centre booth
- develop business and innovation contacts in Japan
Mission dates: 14–18 December 2026
Application deadline: 8 September 2026
Venue: Tokyo Big Sight, Tokyo, Japan
Number of participants: Up to 16
Relevant technology areas:
- Advanced and functional materials
- Process engineering technologies, including coating, bonding, adhesion, surface treatment, inkjet printing and 3D printing
- Materials development and process optimisation, including materials informatics, AI-supported material design, simulation and analytical technologies
- Semiconductor and electronics-related technologies, including MEMS, sensors, nanoimprint, ALD, thermal management and thin-film processes
- Environmental and sustainable material solutions, including PFAS alternatives, material recycling, biodegradable materials, membranes and filtration solutions
Support provided:
- Exhibition space within the EU-Japan Centre booth at nano tech 2026
- Tailored 1-to-1 meetings with Japanese counterparts
- Interpretation support at the booth and trade fair
- Translation and printing support for the company profile/poster
- Hotel accommodation during the mission period
- Online business and market training modules before the mission
Costs:
- Participants cover travel to/from Japan and living expenses, including local transportation and meals.
