Applications are now open for the Space Business Mission to Japan 2027

The EU-Japan Centre for Industrial Cooperation is pleased to launch its 2027 Space Business Missions to Japan.

One Call for Two Distinct Space Events

The 2027 programme brings together two separate business missions, each centred around a major Japanese space trade fair and targeting different segments of the space ecosystem:
•    ISIEX 2027 focuses on downstream space applications and services
•    SPEXA 2027 focuses on upstream space technologies and infrastructure

While the Centre is launching a single call for applications covering both missions, each event is organised independently and has its own exhibition, business programme, and application form.

Candidates are welcome to:
•    Apply for the ISIEX mission → 17–19 March 2027, Tokyo Big Sight
•    Apply for the SPEXA mission → 12–14 May 2027, Tokyo Big Sight
•    Apply for both missions → Candidates wishing to participate in both events must submit two separate application forms, one for each mission. Before applying, please carefully check each mission target sectors; companies not matching the trade fair topics will be rejected for that mission.

Key Information

Application deadline for both trade fairs: 4 December 2026

Places available: Up to 16 participants per mission.
