Hanami Picnic in the Japanese Garden of Hasselt

The BJA Friendship Committee is happy to invite you for its traditional Hanami at the beautiful Japanese Garden of Hasselt.
Respect for nature, religions, philosophy, everything comes together in the architecture of the Japanese garden. Amidst the scenery of big rocks, we will walk on the paths, under the blossoming trees, with the sound of flowing water in the background. In the central part of the garden, a bridge will lead us to the typical Japanese teahouse.
Let us celebrate together the year of 150 years of Friendship between Japan and Belgium under the gorgeous ‘Sakura’ trees – join us with your families and friends!
