Request for assistance for a research on Japanese female managers
Dear Madam, Sir,
My name is Britt Bottin, and I am a Master's student in Japanese Studies at KU Leuven, Belgium. I am currently working on my thesis research under the supervision of Professor Dimitri Vanoverbeke.
My research focuses on Japanese female managers at the level of 部長 (buchou) or above. Specifically, I study how their perceptions of the role of women and the role of managers in Japan may influence their experiences as female managers and their leadership style. With this research, I hope to offer more insight into the experiences and qualities of women managers, and contribute to the call for more gender equality and opportunities for Japanese women, which is also beneficial to the Japanese economy.
To explore this, I have created a survey which is completely anonymous and takes about 10-15 minutes to complete. All information and data will be used solely for the purpose of my master's thesis. The information will not be shared with third parties and will be kept strictly confidential.

I would greatly appreciate your help and time. If needed, I can also send you more information about my research.
Thank you in advance for your time and consideration.
Best regards,
Britt Bottin
