Academic research – Cultural influences on business and IT alignment

Dear Sir,
Dear Madame,

As an executive master student at the Antwerp Management School in Belgium, I’m conducting an academic research survey.
The topic of this research is to get an understanding of the cultural differences between Japan and Europe and how they influence the business and IT alignment.
If the results and feedback is meeting the requirements, a core-set of practices on how to overcome these cultural barriers will be provided to all participant in the research.

To get relevant and constructive feedback in relation to the research question, I’m reaching out to people who have experience in this area.
As, according to my investigation, the primary goal of the Chamber of Commerce is collaborating between Japan and Belgium, a lot of expertise in relation to the subject is held within the companies.
Therefor I would kindly request you if any form of communication/participation with the companies can be arranged?

Your participation is highly appreciated and as a sign of gratitude, each participant will receive the results in June when the research has been concluded.
As an extra bonus a 15min short video will be provided explaining the findings and best practices on overcoming these cultural barriers.

Thanks a lot for the effort and should you have any questions or suggestions feel free to reach out to me.
