Service Engineer - Passion for technics & passion for travelling?
DESCRIPTION:
You, and your 20 colleagues, are responsible for the service on all machinery sold to clients. This means that you set-up and tune the machinery as soon as it is at the clients side. You train the end-users and technical staff on the usage and maintenance of the machinery. On the other hand, you are the person that will undertake interventions whenever there is a problem with the machinery. Besides this, you are invited to do preventive service tours, where you will travel for longer periods. You will spend 120-150 days in foreign countries (average 4 days journeys). When you are working in Belgium, you help the technical team to install, assemble and adjust (optical/mechanical) the machinery.
PROFILE:
You are passionate about technical questions, are driven to solve them and don't mind getting your hands dirty in doing so. You are able to work independent and love to travel. You have had a technical education and preferably have had already experience in a similar function. BEST nv invests in a training of approximately one year, thus no specific technical knowledge is required. As you combine your technical point of view with an interpersonal touch, you are able to train and inform end users.
You speak Japanese and English fluently & preferably one other language (Dutch, French). You are able to travel on a regular basis and on a short notice.
