Toyota Boshoku Europe (www.toyota-boshoku.co.jp), part of the Toyota Group, is an international leading and innovative company with more than 20.000 employees worldwide, specialized in car interior parts. Main activities are developing, manufacturing and marketing of car seats.
Because of further growth we are looking for a Benchmarking Engineer and Technical Administration Support for our office in Zaventem (to start as soon as possible):
You will build up knowledge and skills with our international experience and product.
You will be involved in the planning and making benchmarking activities of car seats and other interior parts
You will make comparisons with current models and competitors in terms of cost, design, production method,etc
You will coordinate benchmarking activities with external companies and internally
You will also make proposals to running and future projects based on the results of benchmarking studies
You will be involved in market research, new technology investigation in technical exhibition and motor shows.
You will be involved in technical administration to assist design side for required technical information
Profile
・ Degree in engineering
・ At least 3 years experience in design engineering or automotive industry
・ Willing to travel abroad for short to mid long terms
・ Team player who can adapt to the Japanese business culture.
・ Good English is required. French and German knowledge is an asset
・ Experience in communicating with European suppliers
