The Experience of Japanese Companies in Belgium - 2012 [2012]
Like in 2000 and 2006, the Belgium-Japan Association & Chamber of Commerce (BJA) is publishing a review of Japanese companies which have invested in Belgium. The purpose of the book is to share their views and experience regarding the Belgian environment and market conditions.

This bilingual document (English and Japanese) is based on interviews of executives of the companies which volunteered to participate, representing a variety of industry sectors and a geographical footprint across all regions (Brussels, Flanders and Wallonia). The book also covers the views of Belgian research institutes in relation with Japanese businesses and institutions.

The experience of 20 Japanese companies in Belgium -2006- [2006]
Strategically located in the heart of Europe, Belgium has a lot to offer to foreign investors: a well-developed infrastructure and a skilled, multilingual labour force are the assets most widely appreciated. Some 240 Japanese companies have invested in Belgium so far, of which twenty were selected in view of the current publication. These companies, either small companies or big multinationals, represent various economic sectors, and come from different regions in Japan, but they all share an appreciation of the Belgian business environment and a strong sense of satisfaction regarding their operations in Belgium. Through these positive testimonials, the Belgium-Japan Association & Chamber of Commerce hopes to convince many more Japanese companies that Belgium is an exceptionally attractive investment location. Our message to these readers is: Welcome to Belgium!
